Nice Little Method for Passive Income

I keep getting a lot of emails about my 15 step SEO process. While I’m not really ready to reveal it at this point, I would like to say that a good portion of it is similar to the Google Sniper method.

You’ve probably already heard of the sniper method, and I highly recommend it. My system uses several tweaks to this process, but some of the fundamentals are definitely similar to Google Sniper.

I almost always use my main keyword in my url, such as www.supercoolkeyword.com or .net or .org. That’s not all the sniper method is, but its a core part of the program.

I use Market Samurai to do keyword research and anytime my keyword isn’t available as a .com, .net, or .org I typically scrap it and move on to the next.

That’s not to say that I don’t develop authority sites as well though. For those I typically don’t use a keyword in the url, but they are obviously a lot more work. Lots of unique content, backlinks, etc. But the sniper method doesn’t involve any of that stuff.

And as far as autoblogging, I’m working on wp mage right now with a few tweaks and will report back how well it works. And I’m also continually testing other autoblogging, auto-commenting software.

PPC has been pretty decent for me lately too, but I’ve mostly been focusing on SEO because Adwords quality scores are so fickle and I get tired of dealing with it. Yahoo PPC is still not too shabby though :)

Blackhat, greyhat, whitehat…none of it is off limits to me. I find all of it pretty interesting. But if you want a super simple white hat method to add some nice new income streams, I’d check out Google Sniper for sure. I’ve yet to see a negative review of it.

In a few days I’ll be laying out a simple process for anyone to properly utilize the Google Sniper method. It may be boring to some intermediate/advanced people, but it’s basically going to be in newbie form – in the kind of language I would send to my mom, friends, or anybody else who pretty much has no idea how to make money online. Go here, click this, make sure you do this, etc. That type of thing. I realize that may be boring or non earth-shattering, but hopefully it will help a few people. If its too basic for you, just ignore it. No biggie.

Have a good one,

Kelly

And then TRJ spoke!

Seriously thanks for shedding some light on the blog once again. I’m not surprised you’re getting lots of emails about your SEO stuff.

You revealed some great content so far and even if you charged an arm and a leg for your course people would be begging to buy it. It’s all about moving the freeline, but I’ve heard on the Warrior Forum that you’ll be giving away the method so I’m not sure what to expect.

Anyways, I’ll be checking out Google Sniper, I never even heard of the product up until now. The sales page looks like a lot of hype and I hope the product is as good as the copy on the page.

I would consider myself an “intermediate” at SEO, so I still have a lot to learn and enjoy reading your blog for updates to keep up. Just opted in to your newsletter thing, great blog design by the way, looks real neat!

Hi my name is Ashley, stay at home, and want to be aspiring internet marketer. I’ve tried various things and am still looking to make money online. I found your blog thruogh the forum and just read you helped your mom with some of the basics. I am at the beginner level and have studied marketing at the University of Georgia and am now looking to spend time at home while making money online.

I can’t believe the methods you are giving away, for free…but still a great post! My only suggestion would be stick to grey instead of black. I’ve gone through that and have lost YEARS worth of hard work by taking some short cuts. Have you had regrets using some black-hat stuff?

Epic post . Please post more articles like these . Personal experiences are worth a lot more than your other generic observations. (not that I don’t like them)

Just wanted to quickly mention that your blog HASN’T been sandboxed (I think?) – check your WP privacy settings for the noindex + nofollow

Hope that helped :)

And keep blogging man!!

Maybe I’ll be the first to say this but is this system completely for beginners?

I went through it, here is what it teaches:

Find clickbank product to promote, do keyword research for it, create a wordpress blog, add some plug-ins, post some articles with your affiliate link, ping it + bookmark it – done!

I highly doubt people are achieving great rankings by simply putting up a wordpress blog with a few articles and pinging & bookmarking it. To rank for anything significant it’s going to take real backlinks.

Kelly, what do you think, was this system for beginners and what value did you get out of it?

Really curious to hear your thoughts??

Oh just wanted to add that I’m thankful for the great stuff you’ve been sharing with all of us, you’re dedicated followers. Cannot wait to see your full 15 step system, I know your said it’s like Google Sniper but this system was so basic I just thought it was for complete newbies.

Google Sniper method is a good foundational method to find a product and get a website up and running. If you want to actually get traffic, then don’t use this method.

I was a beta tester for it when it came out as a WSO (Warrior Special Offer) and wasn’t impressed. Sure, it helps you get a product up on a website with a cool design and helpful plug-ins for SEO.

But does it get you massive traffic? No. Because everyone and their dog is bookmarking their sites like there’s no tomorrow – it’s not super effective and you’re never going to rank for “weight loss” using that strategy.

What’s hilarious is that in the eBook George says that the link building chapter isn’t even essential to the method. Well we’re supposed to put up a wordpress blog and just hope people come to it?

This product was aimed at internet marketers just getting started in my opinion.

Here’s a corrollary to “You have to give a lot to get a little.” IF you are in a 9 to 5 job, but you have an ambition to start an internet income start with Google Sniper. Kelly is dead on right that this is an easy to use system to get started, I wish I had something like this many years ago when I jumped into the game.

This blog is the reason why content is king and why it’s a great differentiator and required part of business right now. Just giving out a free eBook once isn’t enough. You have to consistently give for the rest of your business’s existence. And that’s the number one thing I’ve learned from you Kelly. I’ve been learning from you since you started doing credit repair online, then the rich jerk series, and now this blog. I’ve never actually spoken to you and wanted to leave this comment as saying thank you for all these great years of learning from a master.

I have to jump in and say I agree with what Google Sniper teaches.

I left my career 5 years ago to start a small business. (Very small biz just me and a couple of people I would outsource work to, and my clients) It was all fun, profitable, and good at first but after 18 months or so, there were so many headaches….I actually decided life would be simpler with a regular job, and so I went back to a 9-5 job!

I then came across this method when I was browsing the infamous Warrior Forum and the rest is history.

But just like starting a more traditional business…I’ve had to stop, drop, and start over with the passive income business model too!

Great post and very timely as I am hiring a designer and SEO firm. This is a little off topic but would you ever recommend hiring an SEO firm, and if so which one? I agree that it’s really important to know what you need and how you want it done before going out and finding someone to do it for you which is why I’ve been learning before hiring.

it’s important to note that search is an awesome marketing channel but has it’s issues. SEO takes forever if you’re doing it on your own site b/c you cannot use insane black hat tactics. PPC is both expensive and competitive.
