Happy New Year! (It’s all happening)

Hey guys, sorry it’s been a while. For the past few weeks I’ve been filming a series of pretty intense interview style recordings, covering  everything I’ve ever done and learned online over the past 10 years, good and bad, as well as what I’m working on now. Nothing is off limits, and everything is as transparent as possible.

I have about 2 hours of material left to cover, then I will be releasing the videos as a product in mid to late January. This will be the only internet marketing product I will ever release. Of course I will add many additional videos to it over the remaining years of my career as I learn and develop new methods, but they will be free to all members.

Feel free to make suggestions here on my blog about what material you would personally like included, and I will make sure to get it in these last few videos before we go live.

Now back to the Google Sniper method I mentioned in a previous post. I’d like to clarify exactly how I use Market Samurai to find keywords/domains for SEO purposes.

Market Samurai is pretty much the coolest software I’ve ever used. It includes much more information than I would ever need or use to evaluate a market/niche.

The only 4 variables I really care about in Market Samurai are:

1) Searches – I set the minimum to 100. This is the number of times the keyword/phrase is searched for per day.

2) SEOC – I set this to 100,000. This is the number of competing website for the keyword phrase. In other words, it is not “broad” match but “phrase” match. Obviously the lower the better. Keep in mind that there is a big difference between 100,000 and 30,000. If you find a keyword with under 30,000 I can almost guarantee you will get the # 1 spot if you use the backlink techniques described below.

3) OCI – I set the minimum to 50% – this is the percentage chance that these searchers are typically going to pull out their wallet for what they are searching for. I’ve tested this with MANY keywords and found that it is typically very reliable – some of my best converting keywords are listed as 84% OCI

4) Match Type – I always set this to “phrase”. This shows you the real picture of how many people are typing in the exact keyword phrase, rather than the default “broad” match, which shows how many times the word or phrase is included with other words you don’t have any info on.

I’ll also go over getting backlinks one more time as simply as possible.

For information on what kind of site to create and how to create it, check my previous post here.

The backlinking process below has worked for authority sites of mine, as well as simple 2 page Google Sniper type sites. One of my authority sites currently has 124,000 pages indexed and 2,000 backlinks using the simple system below. It gets 1,900 organic visitors every day and is growing steadily as Google continues to index 4,000 new pages per day. I’m detailing everything about this site in the video interviews I mentioned above.

I use the following sources/software for backlinks:

1) SEO Trackbacks – This is the software I use to get backlinks from blogs. I usually set it to 20-40 links per week.

2) The Link Juicer – I use this program to get up to 10 links per day. It’s a conglomerate of about 20,000 aged and unique social bookmarking and content accounts where your links will be dispersed randomly with varying anchor text and descriptions. It also has a 30 day free trial.

3) Angela’s Links and Paul’s Links – These 2 link sources send you a PDF file with instructions on exactly where and how to get 80 fresh new links every month from PR5 to PR9 sites. The pages themselves do not have the same pagerank as the homepage, but they still carry weight based on my experience. I use someone from GetAFreelancer.com to create 100 of these links to my sites every month for $30 per month. So you don’t even necessarily need to join Angela or Paul’s services to benefit from them. The guys on GetAFreelancer.com typically already have access to the links.

4) The Ping Machine (free) – Software allows you to paste all of your links to be pinged as well as all of the ping services you would like to ping to. Make sure you ping the URL’s of every page that contains a backlink to you. This basically notifies Google that it’s there, so you don’t have to wait for them to find it.

5) I make an RSS feed of my backlinks (I do about 20-25 per feed) using html2rss.com. I add the RSS feed to FeedBurner, making it look like http://feeds.feedburner.com/my-site). Submit the new Feedburner feed to various RSS aggregators out there. You can do it on your own, or use software such as RSSbot.

6) I use Bookmarking Demon to social bookmark the RSS feeds. You can use it to individually bookmark your backlinks, but after a while you will have so many that doing the feeds instead becomes much more efficient.

That’s it. Welcome to good rankings and free traffic (AND free money).

————————

I previously mentioned that I purchased Wordpress Mage and was testing it. I’m sorry to say I was not impressed, and decided to get a refund of this $1200 product. I found the tutorial videos quite lacking and not up to date. Many times I was forced to search the forum to find answers to my problems, which was quite a task in itself, and it didn’t always result in me finding the answer I needed. Sure I could’ve relied on customer support, but I literally had dozens of questions and didn’t want to go back and forth waiting.

As a 10 year online marketer, if I’m having trouble with the software, there’s a good chance a lot of others are too. And for $1,200 I’m not looking for frustration. And did I mention that my Ebay Publisher Account got banned? Yeah, not good. Especially when my other projects are working just fine without all of the hassle. This is just another example of why I believe doing sites right (and under the radar), and spending a little more time on them is the best route.

Be sure to let me know of any questions or material you would like covered in my videos! Thanks!

Kelly

Hey Kelly,

Thanks for the update :)

My question is about your product.

Is this the 15 step SEO course or is it just interviews and stuff like that covering IM in general?

you mentioned you had an authority site with 124,000 pages indexed. how did you create this many pages and how are you monetizing them?

Thanks for the update Kelly!! Can you give us an idea of when this product will be released, the pricing of the product, the launch details, anything else?

I returned WP Mage as well. Not sure if you saw the reviews afterwards but that thing was a total disaster.

Horrible support team, totally over priced, and not worth it at all. Glad I got my money back, good luck to you man!

The backlink methods described here are GOLD! Is this all you use to get ranked or do you get links from related websites and what not… either way, this is some fantastic stuff dude! Keep on making it happen’

In your product, I’d like to hear your thoughts on the following things:

1) SEO Processes
2) Types of Sites to Build
3) Monetization Strategies
4) Delegating, Managing, Outsourcing

If you could cover these four things, I’d be willing to pay big money to learn this stuff – and maybe even get coached by you (optional) of course.

I’ve been following your blog and I recalled you mentioning the SEO 15 steps will be released for free. Now you are saying a new product is coming out. I’m kind of confused. I don’t mind paying for the 15 SEO steps, but I’m not sure which is which. If you could clarify some of this it would be very helpful. I’ve been enjoying the posts and am opting into your list today. Thanks a lot for such quality posts. Peace & Love!

Great content (as always).

Would love to hear more about how you outsource, delegate and retain team members. Throw that info at the end of your product. Resources, recommendations, details… you know, stuff like that.

Thanks bro!

Kelly,

Someone already asked this I believe but is this your SEO product or just interviews on your marketing techniques or what?

Really, I’d like to know as much product details as possible because I buy EVERYTHING you release. So further details would be appreciated.

If it is the SEO product, then I really can’t wait and would love to buy ASAP.

If it isn’t the SEO product, I’d like to know when those videos will be released.

Keep blogging Kelly, this thing has taken off and I’ve enjoyed reading all of your posts.

I hope you had a great Christmas and New Years celebrations, I sure did :-)

There is one specific new software that does all of the tasks done by your softwares listed above and more.

Was waiting to hear some feedback about it. I find it very unlikely that you haven’t heard of it.

Happy New Year btw!

I posted the tools I use over at the WF, thought you might find them helpful:

XRUMER – forum spamming tool, expect 5-30% success rates for first wave of links sticking, so 5-30% of 100k links can be expected with an XRUMER blast, and a certain % of those links will not stick, some maintenance is required to keep those links and profiles and what not from getting deleted.

Most people just keep hitting the forums with spam links and don’t do maintenance.

Cost to run XRUMER? Conservative

500 to buy it, 250-300/month to run it on a server, and hide behind some paid proxies

Best used on really well established sites and on web 2.0 properties.

LFE – Link Farm Evolution – mass blog creator, and pligg account creator.

Most people who make mass amounts of blogger blogs and pligg accounts and WPMUS (wordpress multiuser accounts and blogs) will tell you that they get about half their blogs delete dover time.

LFE can make thousands of blogs but you want to remain under the radar so the owners of the WPMUs don’t see your junk google translated spun articles then delete your entire site. LFE is very very useful if used properly and can be use din such a way that you won’t get half your blogs deleted.

cost: 300

Best used by following their best practices guide, just google link farm evolution best practices…

SEOLINKPRO – More than a tool, but a framework. This tool acquires new targets fo rposting links to like guestbooks and unprotected, unmonitored virtual real estate and puts your links on there. Once set up, it’s completed automated all you have to do is click a button to start getting links.

I’ve found it to be extremely ineffective though and not worth the price, and the product owners only provide support via the forum where the members are not like us here on the WF.

No idea how this could work any better, a lot of the features don’t work, they give no support on how to do the upgrades they send out, so not really worth the cost unless they start caring enough to support their customers, wtf?!

AutoPligg – Automated your link building via Pligg hosts

AP3 works fine for me, AP5 doesn’t work well at all for me. Support for this is through a forum which sucks because you never really get any true help that way, and they’re not interested in helping customers out, just getting sale sin I guess. So I got a cracked copy of AP3 since AP5 didn’t work for me (I paid for it!) and AutoPligg 3 works fine and does a great job.

Thing is… pligg hosts have been heavily slammed for a long time now but still provide link volume, while not providing much in the way of link quality.

SERPSCRAPER – allows you to find your own footprints to get your own unique un-slammed pligg hosts, vbulletin forums etc… to go make profiles on for backlinks. No support here, the tool doesn’t return much of anything when run, there’s no user guide here either, no suggestions on possible footprints to enter in for search. Would be useful if it worked though.

Bookmarking Generator by Howie S.

This is a very cool tool for automated social bookmarking, it autocreates accounts and does everything from creating new entities, to verifying email addresses and registrations and sets up a whole slew of social bookmarking accounts for each user it creates, and it creates dozens of users.

It also allows you to randomize what accounts are used to bookmark your posts and they can be scheduled as well, so you don’t get all your bookmarks all at once like other tools too.

This tool is pretty self explanatory and works great and is probably the best social bookmarking tool out there right now, if only it crawled entire sites like social bookmarking demon does that’d be great, but the REALITY for most people is they’re already caught up with their social bookmarking and are only spending time promoting their latest urls, not trying to promote their entire sites, so crawling features are really only one time use anyways for most people.

Automatic Article Submitter – automated article directory account creations and submissions and has built in spinner. Not a very intuitive tool to use, I got it at a discount and never watched their videos because i just got so frustrated with it. The same exact actions on my part produced different results every time I time this tool so it seemed buggy and cost me a few hours of aggravation so it went in the scrap heap. A lot of people I know swear by it, and when I did get it to work 2 or 3 times it worked really well.

They do offer support and video tutorials so it might be worth getting.

Patience! Grasshopper is all I gotta say…

Other tools to mention, not so automated SEO Link Building Tools and Services

Unique Article Wizard – still the best article submitter, and tapping into the best network still. Has options for complete outsourcing of your article writing and submissions which can be quite laborious but worth the effort to get hundreds of backlinks for 15 bucks an article, which is really 3 articles, 2 spun from first version.

Great way to build link juice to your web 2.0 properties here since they have option for each article ot have up to 27 resources boxes that rotate, so if an articles goes out to 81 sites, let’s say…. then each of the 27 urls being rotated in your resources boxes will get 3 backlinks.

Obviously you’d probably only have 3-4 resources boxes which means you’d get more links to your outer spokes of your link wheels with ease here, with just one article, and the more valuable backlinks, the ones inside the body of the article amidst text…those will most likely get direct links to your money sites.

MAN – My Article Network, little baby brother to UAW, does pretty same thing just a smaller network, less effective, costs less, too.

The Link Juicer – slow steady effective social bookmarking blog posts submissions and blog posts converted to ebooks and submitted to ebook sites, works well nice and slow and steady and links stick, too!

SENUKE – works well, you need to be organized to use it they don’t give you much of a game plan like

step 1 make your profiles
step 2 confirm this
step 3 confirm that
step 4 set up rss
step 5 set up video nuke
step 6 etc…

The SEO guys I know all consider SENUKE “a very useful tool” and yet they all use other tools as well, but senuke is good at what it does, you just nee dto know how to use it, and it is HIGHLY recommended that you join their community and interact with them since there’s great information of the forums from members.

A lot of people I know join cancel and rejoin senuke over and over again because it’s a bit technical but once yo uget a method down and can accept the fact that things won’t work 100% of the time every time you’ll be better prepared to commit to making this work for you.

Joe, Areeb and the gang are good guys, the price for this is steep whic his why so many people join cancel and rejoin so they need some videos freely available to public showing how this all works in an organized manner, with the perspective of the first time user in mind.

3 sets of vids needed: I know they have a whole bunc ho fthem but they could be better

1- how everything works, keep it short! they have this but it is long and didn’t answer my most pressing questions

2- address the FAqs in videos, keep it short. If software doesn’t work get .net framework, if something else doesn’t work get this download, how to spin properly, how to use url manager etc….

3- game plan video showing how to use it all, show how someone does the whole process once everything’s been set up (ex. if all accounts are accounted and working how to submit articles, spin them, bookmark them etc.. how to ping the successful submissions etc… )

Show how an actual expert user uses this when it does have everything working properly.

BruteForce Linking Loophole – automates the Angela’s links packets things (allegedly)

Not 100% automated, you still have to confirm some registrations, otherwise its working for 40-45% of the site sin the lists they give you.

I created several hundreds profiles with this and got over 113 links to apply, then I bookmarked them, pinged them etc… and saw no discernable increases in the SERPs on the sites being tested.

Not recommended, get Mike Anthony’s WSO for getting better backlinks of this type here, and avoid the angela’s packets only because they’re so popular now, and when something gets really popular you need to start doing things differently and start finding your own uniue places to get hese same types from.

If Bruteforce Linking Loophole worked for allowing us to enter in our newly found and unique places to get links form that’d be useful use of linking loophole.

Brute force Evo- Plenty of reviews out there about this, I spoke to some people privately about this and they said it works great and their SEO clients are happy with their work. IF SEO guys are happy with it, then enuff said there…

BadAssRSS – unless you’re a complete idiot, you won’t find anything wrong with paying a monthly fee for an RSS submission tool (that’s just greedy Pete! not everything has to be amonthly fee you know…

Web2Mayhem – impressive

Has blog network Syndicate Kahuna, comment kahuna manual commenting software, co-operative web 2.0 social bookmarking thing, article syndication through their article directory and to other directories, content spinner, twitter syndication, social accounts creations, video sites profiles creations, options for captcha solving, they might re-activate their email address creator and more…

A very impressive system, they have good videos, good game plan pdfs to follow, only 3 steps… setting everything up is a bear and i tried to outsource this but that didn’t work out so i cancelled and was refunded promptly. Reason set up is a bear is most of my my real email addresses are being used already so i couldn’t create new profiles with their software, which is an issue on my end not theirs, but if they had an email account creators I would have been able to fully test this and get it set up easier

That’s all for now been writing this for a while now and my keyboard is flaking out on me so please excuse the typos…

FYI, I might be reviewing LinkDozer soon, depends on their TOS.

Backlink Solutions and Unique Article Wizard are still my top 2 favorite recommended services and I hardly get any complaints about this. As a matter of fact, I get emails from people who want to give me testimonials because those 2 services worked so well for them, especially when they got and used my quick start video and best practices guide for using Backlink Solutions.

Hope this helps some people, will try to update this next year Happy New Year to you,

Dan

hey Kelly, wanna just say, keep the material coming! I first read your book about two years ago. It’s been a hella long trip since then. I haven’t done much of an IM stuff but I’ve deffinately worked hard on what it takes to actually become someone who could do this. Right now I have two domains and I started a blog, it’s in Czech (i’m Czech), I try to focus on having a great content, since I know that that way I can at least keep myself a chance of starting making some money out of that. So thanks again, and I wish you a great and successful 2010! Just wing it my boy! :)

Kelly,
Great blog! I was introduced to your blog by Justin Brooke. I figure if he said it was awesome, it had to be and he was right. You deliver content free that most people would pay big bucks for. It’s great to meet people that are more vested in the community and helping other IMers. Keep the posts coming, I’ll be happy to let others know about your blog. Best of luck in 2010.

It comes down to mentality of the individual. Most people think of themselves as just employees, whereas thinking themselves as a marketer such as you (Kelly aka RJ!) does, more progress could be made both financially and socially in the United States.

I’ll look forward to your product launch.

Great Feedback Dan!

I think this will help with deciding upon the diff SEO and link building tools out there.

I was referring to SEONuke in my previous comment.

I’m testing out Kelly’s short version of the G-Sniper method, and have to say I’ve noticed some results with my first few sites.

It has been suggested to me to use SEONuke with the more competitive keywords, to boost our sites’ ranks.

I haven’t YET tried it, but heard good feeback from many, including my programmer.

Peace out!

Thanks for the comments everyone. I really like the little group we have here. :)

To answer your questions, the product is called “Bring the Fresh”.

It is 10 hours of interview style video on internet marketing with myself and Mike Long (the guy behind the Stompernet Launch), including everything we’ve both worked on in the past, and the projects we’re currently working on now.

There is an additional 8 hours of screen capture, picture in picture video, going through all of our sites, past and present, along with our processes, monetization, philosophies, our launches, our PPC, our SEO, everything.

There is literally NOTHING left out. This is as transparent as it gets. Everything that everyone has mentioned/requested here in the comments is covered in this product.

Again, I’m going all out here because this will be the only IM product I ever do. And I will just add to it as things change over the years.

The price point will be $300. We calculated this by using the following formula:

18.5 hours x 2 people x $8/hr (California minimum wage) = $296.00. And we took the liberty of rounding up to $300 b/c I’m sick of weird prices like $299.95 or $297 or whatever. And of course we both believe our time is worth minimum wage. ;)

Thanks again everybody, and we’ll talk soon. If you have any additional questions, feel free to ask.

It’s all happening,
Kelly

“Bring the Fresh” also covers some dope video strategies both for heavy duty traffic and conversion…

Here’s an example:

Kelly and I used picture-in-picture screen capture videos cover exactly how in the last two years David Mills and I build a new 7-figure business in a weird niche market off of a 3.4 million view YouTube account that we used with a unique viral strategy to generate an 81,336 person prospect double opted in prospect list…

…And how we used no pay traffic and only one affiliate launch that lasted one week and only accounted for a few thousand leads and less than $100,000 in overall sales out of well over a million dollars that site has pulled in.

People will get to see EXACTLY how we did it from behind the scenes.

I mention that part because it’s one of my many favorite parts of “Bring the Fresh,” because I think that we have created unique raw personal and undeniable accounts of tens of millions in businesses we’ve either built from scratch alone, or with others…

…”Bring the Fresh” is constantly like if there’s 3 seats at a table, and Kelly and I are sitting in two of the seats, and the third seat is available for anybody with a burning curiosity to learn our success business philosophy and the details behind how we make our business moves based on real world, up to date examples…

…And the examples we share aren’t dying on the vine businesses, but rather flourishing start ups making money by helping folks out.

(Plus we get down and dirty with not only our successes but the places we’ve tripped up and the way we would do things differently. We want “Bring the Fresh” to be a breath of fresh air.)

More details to come…

It’s all happening,

Mike Long

Hey everyone, we’re releasing our intro video for “Bring the Fresh” tomorrow here: http://www.bringthefresh.com – feel free to go there and opt-in now or anytime to get updates.

We’re still in the final stages of developing the “sales letter” and membership area, but we will be doing a “soft” launch on Monday or Tuesday of next week (17th or 18th).

Soft launch meaning there will be absolutely no barrage of emails. No affiliates. No false scarcity. No “push-button software” for $1,000+ that will break or become obsolete. No BS.

It will be all digitally downloadable – No DVD’s, books, shipping, etc. And we will have a community Yahoo group that Mike and I will be in every day.

Oh and by the way, if you want to purchase it sight unseen after watching our video tomorrow, we will hook you up with a special welcome package and we will both call you personally. Again, it will be a $300 one time fee for lifetime access to our interviews and screen capture videos.

There will also be a $200 optional add-on for a lengthy walkthrough of 2 current websites that Mike and I are doing well with as we speak. We’ll show you the URLs, how we made the sites, the SEO process, software used, the income stats, everything. Including how my site has over 10,000,000 pages, with 150,000+ pages indexed, and more getting indexed at a rate of 4,000 pages per day. Currently over 2,000 unique TARGETED visitors per day, all free. This site has HUGE potential and room for copy-cats (like you) to do very well. The best part is that for EVERY keyword there are less than 15 total sites competing. Yes, fifteen. And then there’s Mike’s site, which has already banked over $1 Million.

It’s full disclosure time. It’s all fresh. No more gimmicky guru marketing. It’s time to get real. I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that “Launches” and IM products will never be the same after this. Hopefully we will set the bar so high that the majority of customers in this market won’t settle for less ever again.

And I’d like to say once again for the record, this will be the only IM product I will ever release. Any future tips, tricks, videos, etc., even years from now, will all be released under the “Bring the Fresh” umbrella, and they will always be free to all members. We’re going for an evergreen product here – sustainable and always relevant.

I look forward to personally speaking with each and every one of you. See ya soon.

It’s all happening,
Kelly

Thanks to everybody who’s been posting and reading…

…Actually the last few posts got Kelly and I kind of fired up and I’m trying to see if we can’t just go live with our little video event tonight.

(No promises, but either way I’m really looking forward to sharing it either tonight or tomorrow!)

The only thing I want to say for now is to emphasize something Kelly just said:

“It’s full disclosure time. It’s all fresh. No more gimmicky guru marketing. It’s time to get real. I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that “Launches” and IM products will never be the same after this. Hopefully we will set the bar so high that the majority of customers in this market won’t settle for less ever again”

I’ve been intimately involved in product launches starting with apprenticing with (and living with) John Reese for four months leading up to the Traffic Secrets Million Dollar Day launch…and then helping Jeff Walker with copy and strategy for the original Product Launch Formula…and then helping found StomperNet with my business partners at the time Brad Fallon and Andy Jenkins and beyond…

…And what I want you to know is that “Bring the Fresh” will be NOTHING like any launch you’ve ever seen.

(Because it’s totally different than any launch that Kelly and I…or anybody else for that matter…has done!)

So I hope you not only enjoy “Bring the Fresh” but I also hope you enjoy the experience that we’re creating together with you.

(And THANK YOU to all of the folks who have been involved with our little underground launch here on Kelly’s Blog.)

It’s all happening,

Mike

Hi Kelly, great blog by the way. Just been reading your comments about Market Samurai and Anglelas backlinks.

I haven’t actually used Market Samurai myself but I did get a copy of Keyword Elite 2 off Brad Callen (kind of him) and that is a nifty piece of software. I also develop my own IM / SEO software so I do tend to use my own tool also.

I can also vouch for Angelas backlinks. I have done many of these for a while but initially my rankings did jump up. I have a new nice little app actually that is great for people who build profile pages. It’s called Index Checker and costs just a few dollars if anybody is interested. It basically takes all your profile urls and processes them, and then reports back whether the pages and backlinks are indexed in Google. If your backlinks aren’t indexed thenthey won’t count for zilch.

I never buy ANYTHING… I don’t think I’ve bought an honest-to-god IM product since the Rich Jerk e-book.

I’m going to buy this. Sounds absolutely awesome. Glad to see you’re getting real.

Peace and Love

-Steve

p.s.- You probably don’t remember me, but I used to ‘work for you’ on a sales floor that called your e-book buyers to sell the coaching. I sincerely hope that your “lifestyle reboot” included getting rid of those ridiculous jeans!

Hi Kelly,
AMong link building methods, you had talked about buying backlinks in your ebook and your previous blog. On the blog you said that sites like TLA are worthless now and their backlinks do not count while in your ebook you still have them as your recommended resource.

Where do you buy links from now? Because honestly now if I want to get instant high quality backlinks buying links is still a great strategy. Just wanna know what you feel and what resources you have as your secrets.

BTW You brought cloaking and FantoMaster openly in front of everybody. What do you think of it now? Though I want to add here – I got a custom site generator built which customizes SEC + Fantomaster -so that the quality of sites built are as good as WH and totally automated. Only if I knew where to buy thos einstant links and I could get 100s of sites ranked highly in Google instantly and making several 100s of $$ per day.

Seriously waiting for your input.

Thanks,
Parvez.
